Nikon Z50 – Creative Campaign Concept

This project was part of an internal contest to collaborate with Amazon’s Brand Innovation Lab (BIL) — a team focused on building fully custom, story-driven brand experiences. It was an opportunity to move beyond templated ad formats and explore a more conceptual, experience-led campaign.

Concept: “Expand Your Creative Playground”

The idea centered on showing that creativity can happen anywhere — from a small apartment to a city street or an outdoor trail.
I developed a vibrant, collage-style visual direction that layered textures, color, and photography to make the Nikon Z50 mirrorless camera the hero and spark inspiration.

An interactive web feature would let users switch between indoor and outdoor photography scenes, showcasing the camera’s versatility and encouraging exploration.

Outdoor Activation

To engage the community, I proposed an online activation with Nikon ambassadors who would share photography tips and challenges. Participants could upload their photos, receive ambassador feedback, and join a World Photography Day livestream featuring creative discussions and photo reviews.

Outcome

My concept was selected among several designer submissions, which gave me the chance to collaborate further with the Brand Innovation Lab.
This experience strengthened my approach to storytelling, interactivity, and creative strategy, and reminded me how thoughtful design can connect product functionality with emotion.
